Get to know us.

Hello

We support social good leaders who need time to process stress or reconnect to their purpose. We accept director level and above on our trips in the fields of non profit, philanthropy, social impact and politics. Please note that all trips are invite only.  If you are interested in attending a trip, please send us a message or register for our mailing list.

Our trips cost between $3,000- 5,000 and do not include airfare, but do include hotel, all food, activities, speakers, travel to and from the airport. Our aim was to offer up a luxury retreat at a non-profit rate.

This means that our rates are non-negotiable.  Our guides and speakers are greatly discounting their services and the wellness products you will receive have been provided at cost. Any future excess revenue will be used to set up a travel fund to offset BIPOC leaders' costs.

Our Guides

Guided by world class experts in identity and essence; inclusion and ecosystems, and leadership systems and purpose. Our guides are hard-hitting, hands on, experienced leaders committed to providing thought provoking experiences, connections to the earth, to yourself and to each other.

With world class academics, global brands as clients and real-life experience, their aim is to take you to the essence of who you are (but most likely while in a rainforest).   Each of our guides have offered themselves in service of a higher mission in lieu of their typical rate of pay to bring a world class experience at a non profit rate.

The project was founded by renown philanthropy expert Ann Canela

Roberto Herrara, PhD, RPA
Managing Partner and Guide

Dr. Herrera is currently carrying out research in the Osa Penisula of Costa Rica while teaching religion and anthropology in the City University of New York System. His current goals are to explore the degree to which pre-contact indigenous societies maintained sustainable social and ecological existences amid a dynamic cultural and environmental landscape and integrate them with local modern-day sustainable, ecological and commercial practices. Dr. Herrera has worked intensively in an understudied but deeply important area of the Americas, and has been privileged to lead and participate on several seminal investigations. A recent winner of the 2022 ACLS fellowship, Dr. Herrera will be taking the time to expand the Osa Peninsula Archaeology project in 2023.
